Tamil Nadu global Investors Meet 2019 was inaugurated on 23rd January 2019 at Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, Chennai.
Defence Minister Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman released a Tamil Nadu-specific Aerospace and Defence Manufacturing Policy at the event. She said that India is the bright spark in the global economy and shining globally, with highest growth globally, in the way the economy is being managed.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Thiru Edappadi K Palaniswami has said the state has exceeded its target of achieving Rs 2 lakh crores of investment.
Over 5,000 delegates, from both India and overseas, are participating at the event. A large number of exhibitors have displayed their goods and services in various halls. This time various arrangements were better than the earlier Investors Meet.
