Truck Trailer & Tyre Expo, organized by Media Day Marketing – A 3 day expo, was inaugurated by the State Minister for Social Welfare Shri. Vasanbhai Ahir, in the presence of CEO Shri. Rajeev Batra, TATA DLT, Shri. Partha Ghosh, MD of HD Trailers, Official from ICICI Bank and others. It was 3rd edition after successful completion of the 1st one at Coimbatore during 2016; and, the 2nd one at the same venue a year ago! The next one is planned at Navi Mumbai by November 2019. Participants from different industries took part and made the expo a memorable one this year too.
Speaking on the occasion, the spokesperson of the organizing committee said that despite the fact that the transporters went off the road for a week or so, claiming their demands with the ministry, there was a little impact with the OEM and other stall holders for show casing their products at the expo – thanks to the final call by the leaders of the transport unions by calling off their strike and had in fact met at the AGM for their deliberations! The other participants were from Axle Mfr, Auto Ancillaries, APP Solution Providers, tippers, trailers, Tyres, suspensions, GPS trackers et al.
